Transforming your smartphone into a context-aware life-logger

Jini is a savvy smartphone app that contextualizes your daily routine, activities and surroundings in order to better understand and quantify your needs. It’s like an ambient diary, capable of writing itself. But, when was the last time you had a diary that commented back?
When you first install Jini, you actually add a contextual layer to your mobile device that is capable of sensing your behaviour; and interpreting who you truly are by blending sensor data with your contextual data. By doing so, Jini is capable creating profiles for each individual user as well as discovering entire communities and their trends.

Our goal is to give back these insights to the individual users, and to the community, so we can shape up our lives. Inside Jini you will discover intelligent reasoning capabilities, allowing her to make keen observations, insightful comments or automagically make recommendations at the right time, and under the right conditions.

Sensing and Context SDK

Now every developer can start building context-aware applications, working with advanced sensing algorithms that are both battery-saving and accurate. Being embedded in your app, it automagically detects user-states (e.g. running, stationary, driving, etc.) and contextualizes the user’s environment by analyzing acoustic, movement and location information.

Contextual Data and Behaviour API

As a developer, you will have access to the Global Data Marketplace where you can use our Context-Aware Data Query Language (CADQL) to generate insightful data you can use for analysis, academic or scientific purpose.  In addition, you will be able to make use of a RESTful JSON API allowing you to generate predictive recommendations, emotional analysis and behavioural analysis for your users.
